Brianna “Bri” Thomas is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Affirm Noire. She was born June 2, 1994, in Brooklyn, New York and has family roots in Trinidad and Barbados. She is a suicide attempt survivor who has battled with long-term childhood depression. Her journey is a reminder that cultivating joy through self-care can be life-saving and life-changing. As a Creative, she’s worked as a production assistant in the television and film industry. The projects she’s worked on include the ABC show, “What Would You Do?”, the indie feature film “After Class” (A Tribeca Film Festival ‘19 Nominee), and the web series pilot for “Astrotypes”, which was featured in NYLON.  She is also a poet and published her first collection of poetry, "Next Stop: Nirvana" at the age of 16.
